I am a designer-strategist, educator, and thought leader with over a decade of practice, working at the intersection of design, technology, and social change.
I shape identity, brands, and systems for mission-driven leaders and the organisations, communities, and institutions they shape.
My design practice runs the full range of communication design: brand and visual identity, brand strategy, UI/UX, and digital product design, across sectors including biodiversity and the nature-positive economy, health and clean water, aircraft recycling, education, and agriculture. I design and build, not only how a thing looks but how it works and holds together. The work goes beneath visibility, to the identity and the systems underneath it, because influence is not only what you do but how the structure beneath it is built.
My practice reaches across digital media as well. Trained in media practice, I work through audio, film, documentary, photography, and live multi-camera production, and through research, and these extend the design work rather than standing apart from it.
My public journey began in 2011 through writing and digital community-building, where I explored questions of identity, leadership, and purpose. What started as a personal inquiry grew into platforms that reached tens of thousands of readers across dozens of countries, laying the foundation for my work at the intersection of leadership, design, and social change.
I am the founder of FA Creative Studio, a brand and multimedia design studio working with leaders and organisations on identity-led systems and narratives.
I founded SocialGood Lagos, a United Nations Foundation +SocialGood chapter, in 2018, and led it as Executive Director. Through it I convened and produced Social Good Summits and youth-leadership programmes reaching hundreds of young people, including the first Social Good Summit in Lagos dedicated to the rights of girls and women, which drew figures such as the British Deputy High Commissioner and the First Lady of Kwara State. I also convened and directed several UN75 dialogue clusters across different marginalised communities in Lagos, as part of the United Nations' UN75 process. The work spanned advocacy, digital inclusion, and technology for development, and connected local action to global conversations on cross-sector collaboration, equity, and shared responsibility for sustainable development.
This work has reached startups, institutions, social-impact organisations, and policy spaces, across Africa and globally.
Much of my creative and research work examines how design and media shape identity, culture, and power. It includes, among other forms, film and documentary. During my Master's at Sussex I produced two documentaries. Beyond Design is a documentary podcast on how women in design navigate a male-dominated field, drawing on two Nigerian women in architecture and digital design. Journey Home is a documentary on how migration shapes notions of masculinity and home, told from a West African perspective. A related project, AlphaXX (Storytelling for Change), explored how a digital platform might tell stories of African leadership, innovation, and change.
I hold a Master of Arts (Distinction) in Media Practice for Development and Social Change from the University of Sussex, which I completed as a Chevening Scholar, and a Bachelor of Science (Education) in Physics from Lagos State University. I serve as an adjunct lecturer in design and branding at Mountain Top University. My work has been recognised through fellowships including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Goalkeepers, Ashoka, and an Associate Fellowship of the Royal Commonwealth Society.
I am married to Joan Anuoluwa Ologundudu, and we live in Lagos, Nigeria, with our daughter.
